They feel good, but since I installed the spacers up front I got some :shifty stuff going on.
I don’t get how you can have stuff going on. the rubbing must be on the inside. its certianly not on the outside.

Oh it doesn’t rub anymore, got a really weird vibration, I think one of the spacers aren’t totally true.

It’s clean as hell, that’s all I wanted. Owned by some old bitch from PA. She only put 31k miles in it’s 16 years on earth as a whole 318i.
So I yanked it’s guts and face off:

Tonight I finally got the rear subframe out, did a little analyzing of everything and stumbled across a few things, firstly the subframe is cracked and I need a new one, secondly EVERY BUSHING AND BALLJOINT IN THE CONTROL ARMS AND SUBFRAME (except the diff bushings and new-ish RTAB’s) is original, and totally shot. :rofl
Moving along, got the rear sub disassembled (for the most part), and ready to go to Boxersix for some lovin.

Next step after procuring another subframe from Mr. Adams and getting all the new balljoints, wheel bearings, hubs, bushings, axles, driveshaft and associated parts all stuffed into the new subframe is to swap the M3 sub onto the 318. Then comes the motor swap and everything associated with that, and about 2 weeks of driving.
At this point it’s doubtful I’ll make the next LVD drift even brought to you by Drift Hustle (:shifty) and www.slideny.com (:shifty), but it’ll be a long and hopefully educational season next year
