Went with the Patroon/NY BMW CCA Chapters to Watkins Glen for an all-day sunrise to sunset HPDE. Like a jackass I forgot to put the SD card in my GoPro. Such a bonehead move on my part.

To top it all off I got to watch lewis hamilton and tony stewart take hot laps in the 2008 Championship winning McLaren F1 car, and tony’s cup car. Seeing an F1 car in real life is awesome, seeing two great drivers wring it’s neck is epic, seeing two great drivers wring it’s neck on a track that you were on only hours before is indescribable.
Probably the best two days of my life.
It’s also pretty cool running up on a GTR, 997 turbo, E92 M3’s, etc, and getting the point-by thrown at the little dicktone “318i”. Good times.

I know Jesse Clark is always willing to sell the one he’s rolling around in. It’s a 95 with 90-ishK miles on it, pristine condition, southern car. It’s Hellrot Red on Black, would be ideal, if anyone knows how to pick these cars it’s him…and they’re tough to come by without being in need of some maintenance. pm him on here…JClark

I like how it looks and I don’t know why. I think I’m going to wrap it in some nifty rainbow chrome vinyl, to be a douche and so it doesn’t concentrate sunlight onto my brain if I sit in the sun for a while.
Re-affixed my seat/belt to be a bit safer, plus I had some slop somewhere so I checked all the bolts on the seat/mount. A couple bolts took a turn or two. Nice.

I decided I still wanted a dome light so no serial killers get me when I’m hopping in the car at night.
I am anal, I am lazy, and I love zipties. Hell of a combination.

I pretty much made a zip-tie mount to get the light up there good, and bundled all of the excess wires to clean it up…a little.
Oh, and I shined up the rimz a bit. Holy hell these things are stunning when they’re clean
