Bent rear sway bar question - is it safe?

I don’t think the rear sway bar is bad (that bad). If the swaybar is bent, it will change the camber/toe of the car. So what? I have adjustable camber and toe control in the rear of my car. Can I just have it adjust to spec? That’s my theory anyway.

Let me know!

Depends on how bent they are. If they are adding extra tension on the
lower control arms then it might affectg your alignment although.

I don’t think it will have as much impact since the RLCA aren’t adjustible.

Have you seen the rear sways on stock S13s? It’s a freakin toothpick

You won’t be losing much if you remove it but you won’t be hurting
anything by leaving it in a bit bent either… The base S14 doesn’t come
with a rear sway afaik.

I don’t think it will have as much impact since the RLCA aren’t adjustible.

So, there is a certain extent to the degree of damage possible, is that what you’re saying?

Btw, I don’t have a base s14, or a stock rear sway bar either.

The swaybar in question is made by Whiteline.

I know my alignment will be off. It already is. Thats why I got rear upper control arm for the camber, as well as toe control links.

Where exactly is it bent? My take it is all dends on how much its bent and
how much stress you think it’s putting on the aligmne.t

I really don’t know how to see or measure this other then driving in a
straight line as fast as you can and see if you notice any odd stability.

It is not noticible when driving straight. I haven’t taken any fast corners yet but my concern is having unequal conering forces while turning left/right

I don’t know what else to suggest.

Perhaps take it out and take a pic for us? Or just take a pic while down there?

I’m curiuos to know where it bent. Perhaps it bent at the end links since
it appears to be the flimsiest of spots on the bars.

the sway itself? cause I rolled on a bent end link for at least a year… didn’t notice the difference when I changed it…
