well 500 gig drives are cheap now, all you really need is a AMD 64, a decent vid card, and some good memory.

u can get away with under a grand im thinking for what you are going to use it for.

Knowing Joe…

He is gonna need 500GB of HD space for Porn.
TV card and Video cards with SLI support with dual 19"+ monitors
He will want dual core 64 AMDs with 4 GB of RAM
Blue Tooth built in

4GB is a bit of overkill, 2GB should be fine…

My biggest concern is the ability to run Vista all out

dont get cheep joe

4gig ftw

do you really have that much porn?

If you want to run Vista, you’ll need the 4GB of RAM.

c’mon!

What’s the standard amount of RAM that is suggested for most systems currently. Now think back about a year and try to remember what the standard amount was then…

Due to horrible programming/coding, the need for solid state memory is going to continually increase. I can remember 4 years ago think that 512MB of RAM was overkill.

It never hurts to have some headroom.

EDIT: And I’m suggesting the 4GB cause Joe wants “all the bells and whistles”.

OK nerds…now AMD 64 whatever or Intel?

Ask Howie how much I had when I used to have an FTP…it’s easily trippled since then

I guess you can say, Joey over here gets his money worth…

AMD, btw

yea i vote for amd as welll. even tough im runing a p4 lol

AMD

I’d kinda agree with the alienware comment, ever since they were bought out the quality went down quite a bit compaired to alienware’s of old. They still aren’t bad but a bit pricey.

Falcon Northwest makes some nice high-end pc’s. Also a simple Dell would do the job just fine.

Or if money is truely no object and you want flat-out absurd and best of quality:

+1 for AMD also

i <3 my HP

lol

maybe he’s joking?

I just bought a compaq, and for what I paid im pretty happy. I didnt’ want anything special and wanted something cheep. 160 gb HD 512 ram, amd 64, nvidia card. Came with a decent HP printer and a 17" flat screen monitor for $500 including tax.

im no joking. my hp runs great and plays video games like a champ
