Best places for used cars.

Ok I didnt put this in automotive because its bound to spiral out of control, but Does anyone know of good place to buy a used car around here? The 2nd car in my driveway took the offical crap today and i DO not want to spend another dime on that pit. It has to be a place that will approve some dinged credit ( CC repayment program) and has some decent vehicles (under 10k). Im kinda torn between a dealer/ used lot or a buy here pay here (absolute last resort) but I dont know where any of those are in the area. So suggestions please and please try to keep on topic. Links or names /address please. Or if someone know of a lending facility that specializes in that situation that would help to.

Sell you my Neon for 3k.

idk how helpful they are in terms of helping people with no so stellar credit, but i would buy a vehicle from galaxyautoplace.com any day of the week. they have great prices, all of their vehicles are always in good shape, and they are great when it comes to service, they take the extra step and don’t screw you around.

send me a pm

galaxy has some good prices imo.
just looked at them
I bought my car (on saturday) from a private seller.
Get 'em cheaper that way imo.
But no financing that way, unless you get a bank loan or such.

P.S.
From the bottom of the galaxy site

We can get you FINANCED. NO MONEY DOWN WITH LOW MONTHLY PAYMENTS - With approved credit. Good credit or Damaged credit we have the finance program for you. APPLY Online at GALAXYAUTOPLACE.COM And let us get you approved today.

sik, pm’d. And I might look @ galaxy im not really lookin to get an suv but thats a consideration. Ill keep them on the list to look at tomorrow, I did stop @ jerry gradl earlier and looked @ a mazda 6, but @ this point im not goin to be overly picky because once my score goes back up Ill prob wind up trading something in.

whats the name of the dealer on union and clinton? he always has some nice stuff.

that’s pat leary, he’s a little pricey but yeah he’s got decent stuff too.

Checked his website and he is just a wee bit to pricy haha. Tomorrow I guess is galaxy to check out that saturn vue, and then to west herr nissan. Thanks for the suggestions so far guys please keep them coming.

Bill Vogel on Abbott? He is a CAC dealer.
Usually newer stuff with high mileage. They usually throw a service contract on it so you dont have to worry about repairs.

noted an will check out, thanks

Go talk to a credit union and see what they can do about getting you a car loan. Generally they’re a bit easier on their lending requirements.

Most of those “we’ll get you financing no matter what your credit” places fail to mention that yeah, they’ll get you financed, but at a double digit % for 6 years on a car with 100k miles.

agreed, if you got bad credit, the company lending you money wants to get paid for the risk. From what I have seen they usually don’t like to take the loan out that far

Ive got a loan currently and supposedly that is what was inhibiting my ability to purcahse a 2nd car that I want. So ive formulated this plan that im payin off the one loan this month and then Next month im goin to go out and buy that sub 15k car I want. Im thinking a mazda 3/6, or another altima since they have been so good to me. But thanks for the suggestions I do appreciate them.

why do you NEED 2 cars…

seems like you need to get your priorites straight (ie pay off the credit cards)

well first off I have 2 cars , one for me and one for my wife. We need to replace one car because its starting to fail us more and more constantly and its just generally unsafe and rusted to shit.

So I know you dont know me or my situation so ill excuse the sarcasm. And FYI my priorites are clearly straight if im working 2 jobs (ft and PT) and doin a creditor repayment plan. Ive also managed to get rid of a HUGE chunk of debt well over 1/2 in less then a year , thank you. Im also payin off the car w/ the loan this month. So those reasons good enough? Does it still seem like i got my priorties wrong ? Just for future reference Its best to not assume unless you know the person /backstory.
