SOLD
I’ve moved to Milwaukee and it doesn’t make sense to have a bike in Buffalo. I’ve increased the price after speaking with some bike people.
information about the scott sub 30: http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2006&Brand=Scott&Model=Sub+30&Type=bike
I believe the frame size is a large, however with the 26" wheels the standover is suitable for people with a 30" inseam (from my experience). It does mean you’re a bit spread out over the bike, but I found this bike to be comfortable (I’m 5’9") during my 9 mile commutes to and from UB during the summer.
I haven’t made many changes to the bike. I did add a Forte SLX carbon seat. I like it, but it does lack padding for longer rides.
I also put new tires on it last year. I’m not sure of the brand or type, but they are decent and shouldn’t need replacing anytime soon.
U-lock and holder included.
There are a few scratches but nothing crazy. It might need a tuneup, but nothing major that I’m aware of.
This is a great commuting or fitness bike. It’s not a great long distance bike (26" tires). The short wheelbase means it is quite maneuverable and fun.
I will be in town May 12th-May 14th, so this would be the only time I’d be able to sell the bike.

$150
Very interested looks like a solid bike
Can I have a price on the set, the rack and the bike.
Bike is probably too small for me @ 6’?
Ummmm u sent me a pm earlier saying you’re keeping it then post up an ad listing it for $50 more then you offered it to me for after I said I wanted it.
Care to explain?
He emailed trying to trade me for my $1k road bike too.
lol no I didn’t. Are you mistaken?
The bike is worth more than what I originally put it up for and realized this after making my original post. And I also realized driving back to Buffalo to get a bike isn’t worth my time.
I don’t consider that shady – fickle, yes.
If I don’t get $150 I might just bring it back on the flight with me.
I will give you $150 for it. Can I paypal you the money and pick it up somewhere?
Today? Let me see if one of my parents will be around. You could just give them cash. It might need air in the tires but I have a pump there you can use and take it for a ride.
Where is it? I work until 4 and I could swing by after. I don’t need to ride it. I am just going to drop it off for a tune up anyways.
Shoot me a txt w/ more info when you know what the scoop is. I am seriously interested. 716-604-5862
That happened to me once or twice where there were PM’s finalizing a sale, I state I have cash in hand and the next day it was “sold”…but not to me. 8/
There’s nothing wrong with being “fickle” provided the seller tells the potential buyer that they are waiting for a better offer. If you guys locked down a deal this is what I would call shady or less than honorable.
He offered it to me gor $100 last week its all in the thread I posted in which i was looking for a bike. Later that same day I post a reply that ill take it and post my number to call me. Next day I send him a pm saying ill take it and to call me and sent my number. Few days pass and see he hasn’t posted so maybe he hadn’t been here so I email him info again.
Today he sends me a pm stated its not worth it for him to drive to buffalo to sell it and he’s probably just going to keep it, then posts it ip for sale for $50 more and says he’s fickle when called out. I’d call it lack of class and character.

And if anyone wants they can just give his parents the money
The deal was never “locked down”. I have no intentions of screwing anyone over. Changed my mind after speaking with knowledgeable people and was too quick to reply. Apologies.
I stand corrected, someone else with a nearly identical low end Scott hybrid offered it in trade via craigslist.
Thanks man! Hopefully once this weather clears up I can get out to ride. I will be dropping this off and my mtn bike for a tune up. Sorry to the rest of the bros. I guess money talks these days.
