Big Question for the 300ZX Guys

OK, i found a 1984 300ZX 50th A.E 5 speed for only $500 bucks in pennsylvania. I know, too good to be true, right? Yeah

Its got the usual Z rust (bottom of fenders, some in the bottom of the door jambs)

It also has the regular 300zx wheels, not the turbine wheels.

Its gonna need mirrors (glass is missing from one and the other one is smashed)

The plus is, i heard they were kinda hard to find
and its a 5-speed like i was looking for. The t-tops are origional, no cracks, interior is actually better than ive seen in cars with better bodies.

Its a true 50th, as it has the seats with the speakers, and emblems and the digital dash.

Ive got links to pics below, I was just wondering if you guys think it would be worth it. I know its Gonna be ALOT of work, To get the motor back up to par and restore the body, but i think it would be cool to have something that rare, especially in WNY. Its got a semi-current inspection sticker from NY, so it was driven within the last two years.
PS: I emailed The Guy back, and all im waiting on is the condition of the frame rails and the floorpans.

Pics: Include every spot of rust on the car

For 500 bux I dont think you can go wrong based on the pics. What you need to do is set your budget and then account for more…because its always more and figure out what it would take to get it in the shape you want it in. Then see if there are any in the condition u like for around the same price you are looking to spend total project. But for 500 bux…you could get it and sell it to a true enthusiast for 1500 bux pretty easily.

yeah, thats what i was thinkin, money isint an issue, if im gonna restore it, im gonna do it right so itll be a few years before its to the way i want it.

I  80’s turbo sport hatches

buy it , 500 bucks why not
