BINGS V.2 RUCA

Last year or so we began developing the latest version of my Rear Upper Control Arms for S13/S14.

Some people say; “they’re just RUCA’s,” but rest assured, these are a special piece, even more so than before.

Some of the brands that actually still care about this market have made some upgrades to their arms of late; as a result, our arms were a bit out-dated.

For the arm piece we’ve increased wall-thickness and adopted the sweeping arc bend that allows for a bit more clearance, but most notably, we’ve gone to a double adjuster mechanism that upon first glance, appears to be not unlike what is already out there.

However, we couldn’t find anyone who manufactured the double adjuster piece, which meant that we had to CNC machine our own.

The result is a ridiculously well built, premium-grade piece whose brackets, arms, double adjuster, lock nut and rod end spacers are all manufactured in Canada from Canadian mined metals. Certified Canadian tradesmen on Canadian soil carry out all welding of sub-assemblies.

Powder coating of the arms and zinc plating of the double adjustment hardware also conducted on Canadian soil.

The only thing that isn’t made in Canada is the rod end. But remember, we only use the best.

Now, the result is a piece that requires a slight price increase, but make no mistake, these arms should not even be this cheap and there is nothing on the market of a comparable quality anywhere in the price range by the time you get it into your hands in Canada. The JDM stuff doesn’t even come close.

Eventually we’ll get the arms out for a professional photo-shoot, but for now… you’ll have to make due with these pics.

We only have a few in stock right now and most are already on their way to DMCC drivers or preferred clientele who pre-ordered weeks ago.

$250 is the new price.

In the immediate future all multi-link arm pricing will include both taxes but will not include free shipping.

I’d also like to say that we have the following arms under development:

Z32/R32 FUCA
Z33 rear camber and trailing arms

as well as some other goodies.

are these only good for drifting or can they be used for every day driving as well? it says for off road use only on the site.

Everyday use is fine… i even use them in the winter.

the rod ends will never fail, they are the only rod ends suitable for winter use of any multi-link arms out there.

you just have to make sure you anti-seize the threads and keep the stuff somewhat clean

cool i’ll be picking them up for sure.

So what rod ends are they? Aurora? QA1?

Thanks Bing!:)

Trung yours are packed up, will ship tomorrow

I do still use QA1 rod ends and hardware on some arms, however, for my rear multi-link (including this RUCA) i now go direct to source for non-QA1 Endura series equivalents.

I just had and still have some Peak, PBM, and Tanabe arms around of late… all of them had noticeable play or other significant issue with the rod ends. They are not cut out for Canadian use. The rod ends i use are far more appropriate. Only SPL uses an equivalent spec. Everything else is lower quality.

these are looking awesome bing

damn bing… awesome RUCAs you have good stock right now?

i have just a couple left in stock

These are very sexy bing. Great job as always.

Can you elaborate on the double adjustable part? I’m probably just being an idiot but I’m not entirely clear on the purpose.

ps - what is the price for v1 customers?

swept toe rods in the works 2 bing??? that be killer

more adjustability.

I was the only guy using the turnbuckle style adjustment and i think some people were skeptical why we were still using it when everyone else went with the double adjuster style.

I’ve had the double adjuster hardware for years, individual pieces from various other brands, but we’ve beefed it up a bit. All other brands that i have seen have a thinner wall thickness of the double adjuster, ours should be the thickest… which is good.

probably not to be honest.

The only guys that need that are people that are dumped retardedly low, i don’t want to cater to guys with that mindset. It’s low beyond the point of function.

My cars are low, my S13 has solid subframe bushings, and yet i’ve never even come close to any bent toe arm issue. It’s a gimmicky feature for most people and doesnt add value, just cost.

i am not sure that i will be able to offer such a program. there is certainly nothing wrong with the other arms, i’ve had them on both of my cars for years and today i was at the S1DC shop where Chris has had his Bings RUCA’s for 3+ years including through winters… still holding up strong.

I’m being pretty aggressive keeping these arms at the current price point. They are clearly superior to PBM which at the current exchange rate is much more expensive considering international shipping as well. SPL is using the same rods ends, but with their hybrid adjuster, and mine will come in around $100 more by the time you get them in your hands. This means that my arms still continue to offer serious value.

Anything else you can pretty much throw in the garbage as far as i am concerned.

I have arms kicking around using Aurora rod ends, high misalignment, without a rod end seal and with less than 2 years of work (no winters) they are showing noticeable wear. I havent seen my rod ends show that kind of wear after 3-5 years including winters.

Hey Bingzor will you have these avaliable for the SON cruise? I’m really getting sick of wearing out half my tires…

should… or just buy them now while i still have some from the first batch

Any ETA roughly on when the Z33 rear camber and trailing arms will be available?

I noticed the angle on the tubing versus the mounting hardware…clearance?

Love my set up thanks to Bing, Nice and solid. Kicks reallll nice. Only complaint is noise. But thats what you get for having everything solid. So if your in the market for wicked performing suspension parts. Bings got the goods.

Bing, Im interested to see how the Z32 FUCA’s turn out. Like I said my father and I had idea’s of our own when you came to get it. Kind of excited to see.

BTW, lock bar…soon. Does the lock bar come with caps for the block?
