Blackberry just stopped recieving emails

WTF, the emails are on the server but not on the blackberry?

Check the BES, is it up and running? Are they having problems with it?, is your email client correctly configured to replicate over to the BB?

need some more info here.

Happens to mine every once in a while.

Try pulling the battery out, wait a minute, and put it back in.

What carrier?

Do you have a BES?

Do you use BIS as well?

I’m assuming you are using exchange if you are on a BES?

What model blackberry?

Pulled the battery and it works again

I love all these Blackberry and Windows mobile phones…

“Shit stopped working ughh can’t get email”

Power off…Power on

Fixed

Usually a network issue where the service book was never received by the blackberry - but the network thinks it has, so it doesn’t send another one, and the blackberry is sitting there in limbo. Pull the battery causes a reset (obviously) and therefore requests new service books when it establishes comms with the network.
