Yes, posting this in gen auto because I have no affiliation, think it is an awesome swap, and want one of you to buy it. If I hadn’t just bought a 2002, I probably would buy this.

Oh nice

Pretty cool. Tempted to give the guy a call. But I was hoping to buy a practical car.
Pretty damn cool, cant beat the price for what your getting.
That is def nice!
holy shit. that is amazing. someone needs to buy this locally so i can drool over it.
ugghhhhhhhhh
do want.
This is rad as hell.
Man, cool older cars like this with an S2000 drivetrain are the cat’s pajamas…
These type of swaps have been going on for years (older chassis, different and newer driveline). It seems to be catching on with the older imports and coming to the forefront as of late.
Have seen a couple swaps like this in Hemmings Sports and Exotics.
I’ve been reading that ppl have been putting LS1’s into 80’s and early 90’s XJ Jags, basically to make them more fun and reliable.
I’m real into this car. I bet it rips
Looks awesome, If only it didn’t have cancer i’d be interested. GLWS.
a fairly clean, running and driving 2002 with an s2k motor in it for $6k…fuck me running that seems like a smoking deal!
That car is rust free…
that’s rad.
craiglist ad says there is small amounts of cancer on the rockers and cancer on the rear strut towers… also states the paint is shitty single stage paint. I mean, don’t get me wrong. For a few grand it could be fixed up and looking hot, and that’s still a great deal, but the car doesn’t sound perfect. Probably as good as it gets at that price point for ANY rare vehicle, though.
that thing is sweet! Would be a sweet little project! put some money into paint and maybe some other stuff and it be ballin!! haha
Seems like a smoking deal …
Intrigued, but no desire to go to Portland.
