While down in Philly a bunch of us took a day trip on the train up to NYC to check out the Art Cars in NYC.
I was mostly there to see the Stella e9 and Warhol M1, but the Grp 5 320i and the e24 were neat too. Some pics my buddy Chris (and I) shot:

are those just shells or do they have engines/chassis

They are unibodies so that would make them chassis… But 3 of 4 have lemans history

They’re real working cars.

i like hte one with the paint on the tires doing the canvas
I just watched a special on this on HDNet or some channel. They had a behind-the-scenes look at the abstract exhibit of the Z4 making the tires marks with paint. VERY COOL.
