BMW resources

Can somebody point me in the right direction for a solid BMW forum, as well as places to get mechanical and used body parts?

Benny?

thx

realoem.com is a great resource site for part numbers too

sweet

Depending on what BMW you have, also check out e46fanatics.com for, you guessed it, E46 cars.

Forum depends on what model BMW. Pelicanparts.com, Germanautoparts.com (in CP), BavAuto.com for getting stuff quick (in Mass).

Und wie viel is ihre Wurst?! Sagen Sie mir…

bavauto sucks hard enough to remove the pigment from my flaccid penis.

buy from germanautoparts.

what you cant get from them, you can get from the dealer, or my other fave online distributor rmeuropean.com

I would have to say, that does seem to sound like a complement.

Awesome, thanks for all the tips… now… is there a special way to charge the battery? :stuck_out_tongue: I had this thing on the charger for 2 hours, then tried jump starting it and it had literally no juice. New battery, but its been sitting for about 8 months i guess

Youre going to have to be a bit more specific.

What kind of BMW is it? Where are you jumping it form? The actual battery or the nodes in the engine bay?

98 I think 740iL tried jumping both on battery and engine bay

Get it load tested see if it holds the charge.

Otherwise leave it trickle charging for 24 hours.

I use to have a 740 iL also. There’s a ton of stuff that could draw power. Do you have an aftermarket radio or anything like that?

BUY A NEW BATTERY!!!

:FACEPALM

great idea, thanks dildo

No its all stock, but like i said the owner put a brand new battery in it, then it just sat for 6-8 months, not sure if he ever started it or charged it. So i’m assuming its a lead-acid battery…? And if thats the case sulfation probably got the best of it and its toast…
