this one is for the wife, I feel bad for her being bored at cruises/at the track so in an attempt to get her more into the car scene I got her, her own ride
she always liked my 4th gen fbods and was partial to my sport gold metallic 98 Formula (1 of 60 made)
Her current car (and only car ever) is a 01 Grand Am with a 4cyl
here is what I found for her-

Hardtop (1 of ??!) possibly the only A4 sport gold hardtop? I have seen 1 M6 1LE car
Ls1, A4, 2.73 gears, no traction control, manual cloth seats
Bone stock and when I say bone stock I actually mean it, perhaps the only bone stock 4th gen left, stock exhaust, all emissions equipment in place and functional, stock air box w paper filter, AC blows cold ect
The car is a minor project its a lifelong FL car until this spring and is 100% rust free, the body and paint is decent but the front clip will need painted due to tons of clear coat damage, few minor typical 4th gen quarter panel dimples which will get PDR’d and the front clip will be painted in the spring
Car is true miles unknown due a a malfunctioning digital odometer a few years ago but I have been able to place the mileage at aprox 130k
Interior is nice, drivers seat has been crunched by a fat body at some time and will need recushioning, door panels are minty and so is dash, non smoker car since forever
It runs and drives 100% , I just drove it home 500 miles from Tauton Mass today averaging 70-95 with no problems, it only used a tank and a third, I will need to do plugs in the spring and remove the EGR which is bad and have it tuned out, it might need a new O2 sensor as well
As far as the price, well it was in line with a decent high mileage LT1 car
Lets see how long I can let her enjoy it before I throw a 4000 stall in and and a 100 shot
