what you think ? good bad ? your experience

I have the kind that’s on a hollow base and you fill it with water or sand. You don’t get as much footwork because it doesn’t swing like a hanging bag but for your purpose it should be ok. Mine also tends to move when you hit it, even when the base is filled. You may want to try to find a frame that you can hang a regular bag from. A speed bag might be a good idea too.

waste of money on a standing unit. had one for when i did karate in my teenage years

just get a gun

buy a carbon fiber keyboard

laugh all you want my blood pressure is high for my age so i have to start working out more and gyms around here are very expensive and i usualy dont have time for them so this is my only other option

push ups and jumping jacks FTW

Take a look into something like this if you can fit it in your apartment:

It is a bit of a space hog but you’ll never get a better workout than you will on the three station of this thing.

thats pretty sweet

SilverWS6, Magical Marge is right you do not move as much when you have one weighted from below so you do not get as great of a workout. Here is a link from title boxing

This one is pretty nice because the base gives you more room to move aorund

Don’t know about the quality of that particular one.

But definitely get one with a speedbag also.

I hear you on the gyms being so expensive. I was boxing for a while but quit just because I couldn’t afford it. Best workouts I have ever had though.

Not as fun with something that doesn’t hit you back

Punching bags are the best for breaking a sweat and losing a few pounds if you do it right. Id go with the old fashion hanging bag…IMO
