Brake line debate....any insight.

So i have read focusinprogress’ post (http://www.nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9104&highlight=Stainless+brake+lines) on SS vs standard brake lines and i am debating which way to go. My car will not be a track car, it is not being built for the track. I am modding it to get the best performance on the street for some spirited driving. I am getting Brembo slotted rotors all around and Axxis street pads. My question is, do i really need SS lines for street driving??

A quick search here would have brought up this:

Which would lead you to some technical white papers from Stoptech that deal specifically with the Stainless Steel v.s. standard lines debate.

Also this thread:

And these threads:

I would suggest adding to one of those many threads. We don’t need another one on the same thing. I’m sure after you’ve read through all the above, you will know exactly which direction to go with your car.
