I’m not really worried about forming it so much as I am doing the flare. We have a decent portable flare tool in house. I can always have ferry flare it up for me, too.
exactly. brake fluid does not compress, therefore the master will not have to displace any more fluid, and there should be no degredation of pedal feel by going to a bigger hardline, the only thing is the flexible brake hoses going to each caliper: smaller WILL get a better pedal feel due to less expansion from the hose from the reduced diameter which has less surface area to expand…

i bought the $49 wilwood valve from summit and have it set to full front (i think its like 70% or something)… never screwed with it once and my car brakes like normal. 
Go with FREE. Always a nice choice.
that means your not trying hard enough / braking into turns.
