SO, we have a lot of vendors that need access to our systems and whatnot throughout the night. We’re kinda getting tired of waking up at 3-4AM and doing it for them.

Does anyone use any break-glass software… it would challenge the vendor with a SecureID or something, ask why they need to log in and log the instance, and of course, notify us.

What we do is issue a VPN profile that is valid for the length of time requested.

That is tough usually from my end I am doing work at 3-4am and billing some crazy after hours/emergency rate :lol:

I guess if they can get in at will its the same thing as giving them an account and just creating some sort of audit trail…
