There’s a reason that they created Euro-Pass. The majority of Europe has far superior public transportation systems compared to what we have here in Canada, Edmonton in particular. The fact that they try to conserve everywhere they can on a vehicle shows why they have diesel VW Lupos that get 70+mpg. Over there, mileage is king.
For sure. Screw the LRT, Edmonton needs a system like the Tube in London - but good luck now, it’s far far too late. We’re waaaay too dependent on the automobile over here.
