Yeah I’ve been thinking we should do a shoot after I get my truck, whatever I get. Br0chure pictures er’wher

Yes.

Jim, try moving and holding the camera with your hands and no tripod when you’re gonna pan it around, gives a natural feel and its not no where as bad as u think it would be, that tripod movement was much worse than a sloppy hand, trust me…

if thats not good enough you can make a custom jig, i forgot what its called, a swing i think, with some basic weights and a bar etc then it will keep real steady and you’ll set to go

camera looks great, def a great quality

still needs more sheep.

i think it needs more COWBELL

nope.

I almost texted you to see if you were at the studio so I could fuck around with it there :rofl

I have about 10 clips I took, one I didnt use was panning with the camera in my hands when Dan drove by. It looks okay and I agree the choppyness of the panning in the video looks terrible.

At some point I am going to buy a Kessler Pocket Dolly/Slider with a tripod sturdy enough to support it. That way I can do cleaner tracking footage and possibly use it as a boom.

:rofl

that slider thing is awesome and with the string that should make a great smooth side to side movement.

I wanna film some music videos, having a camera is an issue tho :frowning:

It has a knob/wheel thing you turn and it moves the slide or you can push it. They appear to be a really good set up. I watched another video of a guy who does filming for a studio and he says they work great. You can tilt the slide so it does vertical movement as well as horizontal too.

I can’t imagine editing or piecing together clips for a music video; props to those guys who do.

i can, its simpler than you think, i got peoples to edit anyways

yeah that thing is def badass tho, i saw the whole video, its pretty legit for some uses…

you still gotta have something to balance and keep it smooth when you’re walking / running with the camera tho, thats huge

I’ll start small for now, we’ll see if I need a Steadi-Cam at some point lol.

Get one of those cheap shoulder rigs
