Butchers

I don’t know if you were asking about the one on Genesee but the one in the Broadway Market is a retail storefront.

The Uhaul on Genesee in the hood by where the Wonderbread factory used to be? Or is there another one?

Yes the one on genesee is not a walk in to my knowledge. This is the one located near wonder bread. This place to my knowledge is a processing plant.

I’ve used BJs with good success. T-Meadow would be my place of choice but you usually have to order your meat ahead of time. Like a year ahead of time. Unless you are a BBQ team or restaurant it’s probably not for you. Not to mention the price is higher but the quality and carbon footprint (if you care about that thing) is better. Spar is a sausage and smoked meat producer I do not think they sell cuts like a normal butcher. I have not tried wegmans as they don’t really have what I am looking for.

I just bought some St. Louis spare ribs today from Federal and they were pricey at $5.99/lb and frozen…:tif:

I HIGHLY recommend D H Cloy, the link I posted earlier. It is a slaughterhouse/butcher, and like I said, the meats I have gotten there are the best I have gotten locally. Prices are decent, not bargain basement, but the steaks I get there are literally like butter.

I’m going to check them out next time. Thanks for the reminder. I’ve seen them many times when I used to work out that way.

yes sir

it is a walk in. its the only Camelias i have ever been too.

I have to say Federal Meats since I have know the family for many years. Always good quality and service.
