buy one get one free at fridays (expires Mar1)

I was just at a place where they do auto gratuity for 6+ people. They do it at 20%. One of the guys I was with simply filled out the receipt and put only the final cost of his meal + tax. He left the guy a few bucks cash on the table. I wanted to applaud him for his actions and not just giving in to the mandatory 20%(which is outragous).

Limo drivers also piss me off. The driver at my wedding got us lost from the ceremony to the reception, we ended up late for pictures and he still wanted a tip. He even waited around for it. So we made him wait… BASTARD!

back on topic

haha wow why so hostile? Do you even personally know me to judge? If not feel free to come in and ill show you a good time (no homo) and good food

Used mine yesterday

You have never ever left a single tip??? I find that hard to believe.

I work for tips delivering pizza a few nights a week, it pisses me off when people dont tip, but if its houses or business that I know that dont tip I just make sure they are the last stop on my runs. Maybe I leave the window open without a hot bag, little things like that, Call it what you want.

That’s why I am nice to the help and always tip…Never fuck with someone who handles food.

I would never do anything disgusting, just make sure its not there on time. I always tip, even if the service is bad, its not always the servers fault.

We deliver to Derrick everyday in the morning, they dont tip(well most of them). You work there correct?

I’ve ended friendships over bad tippers. Scumbags.

I tip based on service but never less than 3 bucks. If the service is good I tip very well. My biggest thing is the drink. If I’m suckin’ on ice cubes you’re not getting a decent tip. Oh, and the argument about lack of staff or being too busy doesn’t mean anything. That’s between the staff and management not me, the customer.

I was just at an all inclusive resort in Cancun. 99% of people will go the entire week without giving tips. I tipped a buck every time I went up to the bar and 5 bucks a meal. My level of service went up exponentially by the end of the week. When I walked up to the bar I was automatically first in line and had my drinks instantly. I got the best tables at dinner. One waiter actually noticed I had a wobbly table and ran to get a shim without me saying anything.

Only problem I had was the maid. I was tipping 8 bucks a night and the room was awesome. All sorts of extras like extra towels, origami towels everywhere, extra beer and drinks, she even straightened my stuff for me. The 4th morning I forgot(Irma would have got 16 the next day) and came back to the worst maid service I had ever seen. Needless to say Irma lost out on my $40(her rent?) for the rest of the week.

Jam, how much should I tip for a pizza delivery? I tipped a guy 2 bucks last night and I think he was pissed.

i used to work delivery, if the order was ten bucks and i got a 2 dollar tip that would be perfect, now if it was 40 and i got a $2 dollar tip i wouldnt be happy

btw i used the coupon and it worked great!! even got it back??

#1 rule is dont mess with someone who handles your food
#2 rule, if i still have soda in my glass and you bring me a refill w/o asking the tip will be atleast 20%
#3 if you use a coupon like this, tip for what the order would have been and not what the bill actually is

i hate cheapass’s that don’t tip accordingly, especially cheapass’s that dont tip delivery drivers, most are out there beating up their personal cars and using their gas money, and you tip them less than a person who waits on you at a restaurant…

A lot of the time when you delivery drivers don’t get good tips, you can blame it on the place’s delivery charge. I mean, when they add $4 on to my order for delivery, I’m going to assume they’re paying you a decent amount and/or giving that to you. You’re probably only getting a buck or so tip. If that’s wrong, take it up with them.

i agree with that, i had a delivery once and it was 8 dollars more than the price said on their website, come to find out they raised all their prices, and added a $2 delivery fee w/o notifying the customer or updating their webpage that said free delivery

fyi most delivery guys do not get that delivery fee

yeah, in which case they need to take it up with their pizza joint in question. i’m only willing to pay x amount to have my food delivered, whether it goes to the store or the driver.

So that’s why went out to lunch together? So I could leave the tip?! Should have known…

I get $2.50 every delivery, I also get $20 for just walking in the door and folding some boxes. Its an easy gig, just sucks when you do have to go somewhere far and they dont tip.

we charge 3.00 to deliver out in boston area, i get 1/2 of that, plus tips, plus a good hourly rate.

Superbowl sunday i made over 200 bucks in tips alone.

it all depends on where u deliver to, ppl in boston, op, hamburg tip well, of course some ppl dont tip, ohh well, im not sweating it.
