Obviously because they have ASLR…
I had to write this for some shitty FTP server for Windows XPP SP3…It popped the box…
And programs can opt out of ASLR in Vista/Windows 7

meh, I am not a windows guy
not to mention, you didn’t write that yourself…that is mostly modified code. I have seen it before.
Uhh
I wrote it my self I had to write it to pass the OSCP exam
A lot of people use that format for putting together simple overflows…
That shell code connects back to 192.168.23.10 on port 31338 so its not very useful to anyone else…
It wasn’t some uber leet 0day but it worked for what I was trying to do…
Anyways back on topic…
Why take a C++ class if you don’t want to put any effort in?
that shellcode looks familiar
cause the university fucking makes you take it duh
dope IT salary y0!
and people wonder why I constantly say computer science degree or go home. CIS/MIS is a JOKE or a curriculum.\
edit: wait, is this the freshman engineering course that forces programming upon you? Yes, you do need it for real life. ASK FRY
Now I know you have no idea wtf you’re talking about…
ugh, I am not digging up where I have seen it
I really am clueless though
lol i dont remember a fucking thing for this course, if anybody else had buckly, he was extremely easy, programs were hw which was like 75% of the grade, then the final exam was a list of glossary terms mixed up in a multiple choice test.
Fry is not real, he is just an OT program running in the back round.
And I liked my CIS classes at BSC… They were a pretty easy intro to programming.
still a useless class, intro to programming
I would bet most pre req. college courses could be tought in H.S.
(too bad the kids would retake them in college just to get easy A’s)
