C5 Corvette Drag wheels.

I would like to find 16" wheels for my C5 for drag racing. I found this CCW drag package, but they don’t make them any more - and used they are still like $2K.

I also saw one guy that used 16" Camaro wheels for his slicks on back. But, I have no idea what year rims would fit. Looked like they were the 3rd gen wheels, though.

Any ideas?

bogarts fikse or hre but there all pricey but beautifull wheels

I wrote to bogart for more info. Thx!

Bogarts are AWESOME wheels, if you have the $ go that route.

If you want a drag setup on the cheap you can use a stock 4th Gen Fbody 16x8 in the back. It WILL require some grinding of the back calipers, spindles and the back-side of the ball-joint on the upper control arm. Nothing too major, but just something to be aware of. For the front a GTO spare rim (I think they are 17x4") will work w/ no grinding for “skinnies.” Obviously you need to put a tire on it that’s safe for your trap speeds.

Nice. That’s some good info. The GTO spare tires actually look cool, too.

Bogarts wrote back and said they had nothing in their “Fly” drag series that would fit the C5. (16 inch)

I found 2 rear wheels from a 2000 Camaro 16x8 with drag radials already on them. So, that takes care of the back.

Any idea what kind of tire would work on those GTO spares? MT and Hoosiers only have 1 17 inch skinny size and they are 2.5 inch wide for dragster applications.

Thx!
