P.S. speeding on public roads at any hour, no matter how ‘safe’ it may be and how ‘fun’ it may seem…isn’t worth it. Take it from someone who was arrested for 170 in a 65, unauthorized speed contest, failure to obey a traffic device, failure to comply with law enforcement (i slowed down safely (as safe as logically possible for that speed) and took a while…i wasn’t about to stand on the stoppers at 170), no front plate, muffler modified to amplify sound.
Tons of cash (plus paying annual for the NYS drivers assessment fee), insurance incline that looks like a silouhette of mt. kilmajahro (sp??), loss of that car (part of the plea bargain to not goto jail), and the city of Saratoga owning every second of my personal time (i choose not to disclose the bazillion of hours of community service), and 6 months with a ‘work only’ license I finally got a ‘clean’ license again just a bit ago. Everything seems all good and fun in theory until you get caught. Thanks to those who trollied me around while I was w/o my normal rights btw :nod

Yeah, Tony probably doesn’t remember who I am but I’ve known who he is for a while. He used to ride w/ my friend Casey and a bunch of other guys and dated a girl Christine that I used to know. Good on a bike, crazy behind the wheel, just no love for the laws of the land. I learned my lesson the hard way that’s for sure. Sometimes thats all it takes to reign your neck in is a siren and lights. I swear that night my asshole puckered up to the size of a decimel point. The guy I was racing tried to get away…saw his car on a flatbed and him arrested. I pulled over, took my beating like a man, and the cop was somewhat cool given the situation and let me drive home.

Yellow Evo was after the .:R and after the HRM Elise. Before the Boxster and Black Evo and STI obviously. I parted out all the ‘bolt on’ stuff as I still had it saved…car was gotten rid of w/ built head/motor though.

i miss the .:R… that thing was the fuckin tits… schrick cams, vf engineering prototype blower, etc… goddamn you for getting rid of it.
my biggest ticket was a 116 in a 65… drove away from that one for doing everything right as well…(with the exception of speeding in the first place) havent been pulled over for speed since.

i hated the VF blowers for the 24v VR6’s my friend chewy had a 24v gli with a VF-E stage 2. it was a cool car, lots of power under the curve, but all in all, not very impressive… but being able to a launch it would have been cool.
