caddy guys or anyone really

is there any way to trick a late 90s caddy idk what model, into thinking theres a converter when theres not? guy at work cut his off after looking at mine assuming he wouldnt get a CEL either, but his went on for no catalyst :mamoru:, i dont have anything done to my harness to trick my car it just doesnt care =p, any ideas?

If there’s tuning software for that model, they could shut the cat sensor off in the ECU…

this guy isnt going to be using tuning software lol and im not making an effort

then put a cat on it?
if there’s a cat sensor that’s on and there isn’t a cat it’s going to throw a code.
He can disconnect the battery for a while to clear it, but it’s gonna come back.

I would try one of those O2 sims, just direct wire it in.

well ill let him know, i told him to live with the light

Isn’t a .45Volt signal perfect? Just send that back to the ECU

thanks!

Not exactly, it needs to vary to show that it is operable. Just get a casper O2 sim

the antifouler thing worked for me on my blazer…why not just do that? it only costs 5 bucks…

ive never used one of those^^
