Calgary Flooding (Now Toronto)

Canada must’ve done something bad.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is not happy with Canada.

Poor Ferrari is right. Anyone want to go to a flood auction and look for a new race car chassis?

What exactly do you mean by that statement?

God hates them because they don’t regulate their maple syrup well enough.

I was giving perspective on the rainfall total.

EDIT: Checking again, looks like I missed 3 zeros, lol.

God id prob off myself if that was my ferrari …If that was my dealership i would of grabbed my workers and had them drive the most expensive cars and drive them to higher ground as soon as I even heard the word flood.

What exactly do you mean by that statement?[/QUOTE]

I think he means that he can’t do math.

1 mile is 63,360 inches.
1 square mile is 4,014,489,600 square inches.

1" deep is 4,014,489,600 cubic inches.

Google doing the math says: 17,378,742.85714 or 17 million gallons.

Yep, ~18,000 should have been ~18,000,000 - that’s what I get for pulling numbers from memory.

EDIT: Yes: http://ga.water.usgs.gov/edu/earthrain.html

So, @ 5" total rain fall, 85 million ish gallons in one square mile.

Or, 19,000 ish of these pools in one square mile:

http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/07/82/57/30/0007825730942_500X500.jpg

Let’s reduce that to a 1/2 acre plot of land @ 5" of water = 67,885 gallons, or 15.4 ish pools

You, and all your neighbors have 15 pools, and everyone drains them all on the same day.

To be honest, who gives a fuck.

Simply put: That’s a lot of fucking water.

I was going to say, my 18’ x 36" pool is 15,700 gallons, lol.
