Ran a 14.3 @ 106. with a 2.4 60’/running 13-14psi with boost leaks. I couldnt launch and it was breaking up past 5300 ish rpm.
Everything will be fixed and running 20 ish psi
ok getting car dialed in now. got some upgrades to do over the winter and see what happens come spring time.
BTW big conrats on your latest best e.t.
I have a slow 2000 Firebird looking for some action when this goes down. 124k mile stock ass LS1, hopefully by next year I’ll have the cam in it. Automatic. I’ll run with either DR’s or ET Streets.
This thread rules btw, makes for great shity weather reading.
Should get some of the faster Roch cars in on this as well.
Any Evo guys? My set up currently includes stock block, hks 264-272 cams, ets fmic, 1000cc and walbro. On my old school green I went 11.6@126 ( bald tires stock suspension). On a borrowed set up over the weekend went 11.0@135 , street tires again 2.08 sixty ft, yes I know terrible but just spun. I was going to push the stock block, but I’m at 92k so I’m building I this winter and going for 9s next year. Would be fun to run some evo’s
you can race neonGLH evo, its a stock motor, but still has the stock turbo so should be slower then you.
studderin, do you mean after he shoots for 9’s? neonglh would not have a problem running an 11.0 lol… as for evos i should be ready by spring too, im looking to be running somewhere in the 10’s
im in for racing 10sec cars with manual transmissions… my car weighs about 4k lbs…
Who’s neonglh? I didn’t really understand what was being said by sportsallstar.
Neonglh is a guy who races a stock turbo evo. Your mph is obv well beyond his but I am not too sure what his plan is this winter. He usually runs a pretty good et for the setup.
Full weight? I know all the records and tricks and whistles and sure if I went to a slick or drag radial I’d shave a couple 1/10s, but I don’t want to strip my car bare like all the other guys do who run great times stock turbo.
NO lol, but i am full weight, i actually have no idea what time i am going to be running, but im hopeing to dip into the 10’s lol
That’s awesome man. It’s tough, you’d think awd would be easy but it actually is pretty hard. No matter how long I let mine hang through first spinning, every shift into 2nd bogged. I guess that’s where slicks woulda helped.
Any one have a quick 5th gen camaro or mustang
isn’t that an oxymoron?
Yeah, I am running the stock turbo and stock block, but I cut better than a 2.0 60’. Maybe I could make up for your huge MPH gain on me, with a better launch? I haven’t raced too many other Evos, but I know I usually kill SRT4’s and a few local turbo civics when we mess around.

Also, when are these races happening? I assume next year, or are we traveling somewhere?
nice. i ran 14.6 @ 95 n/a with a stock block qr25 on bfg dr’s.
right now i have a 75 single shot, but by spring/summer i should be running a 100single or possibly a 125ish dp. still stock block, just headgasket/studs/and a walbro.
sounds like a good match to me
Neon, sounds nice we have a wide variety around here of evo’s. Just curious do you know the weight of your car? I tuned a stock block, stock cam, stock turbo Evo 9 that is looking to go 10s. So far his best is 11.5@121.7mph on street tires and full weight. Jw what kinds weight reduction is needed to drop 5/10s. Might toss in a set up cams and re-tune before then but I know he’d be down to come.
We have a few full weight Evos around the shop that are mid 11’s, full weight with street tires as well. I would say the best way to hunt down a 10 would be use a good tire for sure! Plus, slicks weigh less than street tires, by quite a bit.
