The turbos will be good for it I guess but I just want lower 9’s and higher traps for now while still on stock rear and no T-brake. If I can sell these turbos off i can upgrade to the larger ones without much cost so I’ll do it for the future…plus I think my 60’s are a touch small anyway
you need some 70’s, If I can make that kind of HP you’re making with just 1…
Thats what I’m thinking… 70’s would be comfortable with 400-500whp each bank on my car and can support 600+ each bank if I ever want to crack my block. You are making the most power I’ve ever seen out of a single 70

Thinking .96’s since I dont think the .68’s are flowing enough on my motor. I have both right now so i can possibly try the .96’s on the T60’s first if they dont sell soon, else I’ll order the T70’s with .68’s and try each of those.
If your big block can spool them by 3500 or so, then i should get them lit by 4000-4300 which is where my converter is so it should be an ok match. Right now the 60’s come on pretty instantly

I am stoked some of you pitt guys are really building some serious cars for next season. Hopefully we can all get together at some track days throughout the season for some fun. I am already considering selling off my injectors and having my block+heads o-ringed incase I want to turn it up haha.
you worry to damm much. your bugs need addressed and need to look at tune better before changing parts out. if anything toss the larger AR on them and be good. youre not even close to full potential of those turbos yet. if you want we can get to gether and work on that tune

I run .68 on-center on mine I can’t get anything beyond 40psi@7500 with that small of a housing with my 2.0. I know you don’t run those kinds of pressures so I’m pretty sure they’d be ok for you even with the larger displacement bank.

What kind of turbo do you have? Have you considered trying a .96? I have a set of T4 P trim .96’s for my master powers laying around. If I cant sell these 60mm’s of, i’m gonna try the .96’s for next year but in the time being, you want to try one if it fits your turbo? I think for your pressures/rpms you could gain some power up top with the reduced backpressure?
I was on turbo forums and one guy with a 1000whp DSM gained 40whp just by going 1.01 to 1.28 housing on a 8500 rpm motor. A few more pounds gave 145whp gain with the housing

its a possibility theres much more in it with just a simple tuning session on the dyno. I do have some problems with the car and the tune right now so if i can ever get this thing up and running 100% i’ll schedule dyno time. I have been trying to do so ever since that dyno day and everytime i tried something happened with the car. Now that the overheating issue is over, i can drive it Whenever I get a chance again, i’ll let you know and we’ll see what it can do. I’m just not sold on 60mm turbos when 90% of the other 400+ inch guys are running 64-70mm setups and doing just fine.
