Cam Question

Ive been cam shoppin for a while and still can’t make up my mind. its goin in the stang(mods in sig) but im not sure if the lift is too big. Its the Ford racing f-303 cam. specs below

im debating between this and the e-303 but ive heard the f-303 in a stang and it sounds bad ass! in the near future i plan to add nitrous so i dunno if that would be a factor. If anyone has any suggestions on this cam or if they have any other recommendations i would greatly appreciate it.

what heads?stock head f cams are poooooooooooopo

the heads are stock w/ the exception of a 3 angle valve job

Yeah…

Shaggy’s cam wouldn’t be bad for what you’re wanting. The F-cam would be absurd to run with stock E7s.

Quite honestly, I wouldn’t slap a cam into a 5.0 wearing stock heads. An aftermarket cam will really take advantage of the new flow potential of a good set of aftermarket heads; while providing minimal gains on stockers.

I don’t pretend to be a valvetrain expert. You should post this at Stangnet/Corral and let the cam gurus give your more/better information.
