Can anyone ID this cam? SBC? LS1?

I got this cam with a car I bought, and I am not sure what it is. I took some pictures of it, including the markings on the end of the cam. I had someone on anther site say it may be a stock LS cam. Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like an LS1 cam but I don’t know about the numbers on it.

Is that a QR code engraved on it?

rofl thats what i thought

It’s not a QR code (they always have 3 registration marks on them), but it’s some sort of manufacturing 3d bar code.

Google 1721 cam … seems like a stock LS1 cam…

That’s cool, hopefully I can sell it for a few bucks

Top number is the last 4 of the part number.

So it’s the same cam that’s in a 2001 Corvette, so I’ll market it as that on eBay!

how many doll hairs? the wagon “needs” a cam

Might be worth $50 if you’re lucky? I think I gave mine away haha. This wouldn’t really help any engine unless you wanted to do a lot of work for maybe 10hp out of a 5.3l?

Perfect, just the information I have been trying to google for.

John looked it over and says it looks like it has not been ran yet. There are no signs of wear on any of the lobes at all. I wonder what this cams story is.

If anyone can use it, $30 takes it!

good deal for someone looking to rebuild to stock specs or replace an aftermarket cam!!
