Car Ads Banned For Dangerous Driving

#1

Man, the UK really is fucked…

ASA said the ad depicted characters releasing their anger while driving a Mustang and that the poem reinforced that “by encouraging motorists to drive in an aggressive manner”.

Fiat’s ad… “portrayed the cars racing and being driven in a manner that condoned or encouraged unsafe or irresponsible driving”.

The pussification of Europe is almost completed. Don’t let that shit happen here.

This is the Ford ad BTW:

The end of that commercial is racist (this was posted here before):

That’s a pretty badass commercial.

That happens to be one of my favorite poems as well, so I’m a bit biased…

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

lol, VW makes an ad making fun of the fact that ads are being banned from TV… then their ad gets banned. Amazing:

ads depicting its updated Amarok V6 have been banned from TV, after the body charged with processing advertising complaints, Ad Standards, deemed it “unsafe”.

“Of course, the irony of having the ban placed on the commercial and winning ‘Ad of the Month’ on an advertising industry publication on the same day was not lost on us.”
