The accident at the end of that article was insane. It was a guy in a trans am, going about 45mph down the wrong side of the road right at the end of the day on saturday. Bumper to bumper traffic and he was flying down the wrong side of the road, ignoring the guys directing traffic, swerving in and out of cars. He finally lost control, side swiped a grand prix and spun to a stop.
Trouble also spilled into Carlisle on Saturday.
A Quarrytown man is jailed on $100,000 bail after he allegedly caused a wreck near the Carlisle Fairgrounds.
Gregory Strus, 27, was brought in to Cumberland County Prison Saturday night and charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, four counts of driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to stop at a crash scene, damaging an unattended vehicle, failing to obey a person directing traffic and following too closely.
Details of the crash were not available by press time.

Yeah, he was parked behind one of my friends at the show. He told us this guy in the trans am was so drunk that he fell over trying to get in the car to leave. Then we were leaving and he went flying down the road and we were all like “hey there’s that trans am” only to see him wreck 5 seconds later.
