It’s tough to justify driving too far for a few cents.
Great example:
Last weekend I filled up the truck and the boat, spent $100 @ 3.08 a gallon. So that’s 32.5 gallons. Even if I found gas for 2.89, I’d only save $6. If I had to drive far to get it, even less because I’d be using gas to get there and back. Plus my free time wasted driving around, which to me is worth way more than $6.
And that’s an extreme example since most people don’t get 30+ gallons at a time.
I will avoid the station at Millersport and N.Forest though, because not only is he always a few cents higher than everyone else, he’s also the first to raise his prices and the last to lower them.
The Map option is cool, because I will not go out of my way to save a couple bucks.
