amazon.com has them for like $5. If you need it by this weekend, you might have to pay out the ass. Noone around here seems to have hdmi cables for under $40.
I have these from amazon, not their cheapest cable, it had hundreds of reviews mostly all favorable:
But they have a few more for cheaper:

i got mine off newegg for like <10bucks
yeah mike you wont find anything like that locally, they only sell overpriced monster crap around here.
If you really need one by this weekend I have a spare one you can have, just order me the same one for my future HDMI 360 which I won’t be getting anytime soon.
ok thanks guys, i guess i may have to wait and be more patient, i’m just anxious to rock out on xbox live lol
Its worth saving that much money.
check slickdeals & techdeals before you order.
i picked up a nice 3’ HDMI a few weeks ago for free + ~$6 shipping.

probably something like this exact one:
$4.49 + great reviews… a quality cable… they get cheaper if you buy more.
Online they have the cheapest price. I can check with my vendors and probably at least beat the local chains.
Right now I have a 5 meter HDMI for $29.95 in stock. But if you want to wait, i can see what I can special order.
But newegg and Amazon will be cheap
awesome thanks guys, i cant believe how much the price fluxuates (sp?) on these things, anywhere from 1.99 up to 60 bux. Is there a big difference in quality with these things? I know alot of you are saying they got good reviews?
Mike
HDMI is HDMI… its a digital signal, so as long as the 1’s and 0’s make it from one end to the other, the picture quality is teh same no matter if its a 1 dollar cable or you spent 5k on it… (and yes they exist)
good to know, thanks viper!
5k cable who’d pay for such a thing!
i agree until you start getting into longer run distances. For 1m-5m cables, i’m sure the differences are negligable.
I got a few from RAM electronics in the past for my dad ( I still dont have anything that needs one yet). They seem to be great quality. A few people I know have had similar experiences with them.

it has to meet (or for safety sake exceed spec). the cheap cables can be built poorly enough to be worth avoiding.
If you notice I recommended a $4 cable… but I wouldn’t recommend any $4 cable.
and as distance increases you need to care more.
I love monoprice for all my digital cables - for analog I buy used high quality stuff.
