i know that is at least partially true, but i really cant take anything Scotty says as 100% true without some sort of validation…lol
i would pay $1000 any day of the week for a solid EG VX hatch even if i didnt need it.

and now it has some extra weight in the floor
Woohoo - found some vintage shots of one of my old EG’s on TCC
Man, I wish I could find pics of my old black one…black on black HX rims. <3
my first car was a 1986 CRX HF (US model)
it would not go above 115kph whether i was in 3rd, 4th or 5th gear…
i had packing tape holding the corner markers in place and before i hot saftied it i cut the shifter, put a shift knob on and got ILL seatbelt pads… fuck yes…
i sold it for more than i paid after 1.5 years barely in running condition to a young dude in cambridge who had his father drive it back… the father only had 1 arm… no pictures exist anywhere…
It’s pretty impressive for what it is, I also owned a 92 VX. It’s too bad Honda did that when gas was cheap in compairason to today, so it never sold well.
It also had some other things such as a lighter stock flywheel to save weight and add to efficency and a shift light to tell you where to shift for max mileage. The OEM wheels were about 9.5 lbs to also save weight and make it more efficent. Also things like aluminum alternator mounts to save weight instead of the standard steel.
Unfortuniatly most VXs have been molested and most of those parts are gone off them.
Am I calculating this right? - Fuelly Forums guy who went all out with AEM EMS on a vx for max mileage tune.
