I hate to ask such a newb ass question, but All I can find is information on S13s. I have a 1995 240sx that fails NOx on the etest and it has a check engine light on. I have found the EGR vaccumm lines in poor order and im going to fix them. But In the meantime how can I check the codes on my S14? I want to see if its just the EGR that is an issue.

(I’m not 100% sure but here goes)
There is a screw on the side of the ECU along with a tiny little red light. You need to turn the screw to flash the ECU. The red light will blink slowly (like 1, 2, 3, 4) etc so you need to count.
Example, code 22… the light would blink 1, 2 then pause and then 1, 2. so 22.
Either way… look in the FSM (just download one online) as it should explain it all as well as list all the codes and numbers.
