Hey guys… Was cleaning my S14 a few weeks ago… Cleaned the cluster with windex and noticed a few days later a haze over the clear plastic… I can barely see my tach or odometer anymore…
It seems to be on the outside and inside… Seems like some sort of chemical reaction with the plastic. It’s not condensation… Any ideas…??
Yep, same thing happened to me. I don’t think its a reaction to plastic. I was using an armor all to clean my dash and some of it got on the plastic covering my cluster, it left some marks that weren’t wiping away. So I tried windex to remove it, that made it worse more hazy. I couldn’t read anything. I went to cdn tire, and bought a bottle of PasticX for cleaning clear pastic. I had to take the cover off the cluster clean it properly but it looked like new. So I assume its the same thing thats happened to you, maybe at some point an armor all like substance was sprayed on to the plastic, and now that the windex has been sprayed on to it, its creating the haze.
