Clutch

Buying a new clutch for the GTR. Need some input.

I don’t think I will have the GTR over about 450 hp when I am done wasting money on it.

I rarely drag race but occassionally I accidently slip and find my self accelerating quickly beside another car…odd. I do the track days at Namao as most know. The rest of the time the car is in the garage or just cruising.

I was thinking about a twin plate. It will likely be more than I need but the extra reliability/durability gives peace of mind. A good single may be sufficient.

I want decent pedal feel…nothing too heavy…relatively smooth too. I don’t want a lot of noise.

I am mulling over these options.

Nismo coppermix - single Price TBA
Nismo twin $1600 CDN
ORC 709 - twin. $1250 CDN

Any first hand knowledge? Comments? Unbiased sites to reference?

Yea go for more than you need, then you wont always be worried about possible slipping, plus it will just last that much longer. And im sure a clutch change on a GTR is no simple task. Nismo is always a good option.

I would agree with the stock or in this case, near stock FTW. Factory backed performance parts as always a great choice.
