can anyone recommend a program to convert a .flv file to .wmv? im looking for something free. ive tried a few, but they keep puttin ads in the final output file. and some dont even work right.

I think any version of VirtualDub before v1.3 might be able to do it. Not sure if it opens to .flv files though.
Any version after that would have to be ripped to an uncompressed AVI or any other format but .wmv.
