Homebuilt Fiesta turbo. I always find cool shit the day after I buy something else. http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/2630780827.html
That actually looks fun as all hell.
Worth it if he still gets good mpg.
Holy homedepot motorsports! Ferncos should have a warning on them “not for automotive use!”
Still a cool toy. With some finishing you might be killing vespas stoplight to stoplight.
Shave the bay + new paint + replace home depot part with actual car parts + lower it + some nice rims = win
I saw this when cruising craigslist and just laughed. It would make for a fun sleeper if you swapped the engine out for some thing better like an fe
Shogun fender kit it :wow
Needs more Honda engine.
That looks fun as hell. Throw an FMU on to add more fuel, and bomb around with possibly the most fun slow car you will ever drive.
Although I’d replace that hose with either pvc pipe or exhaust piping, and add a side mount intercooler that the VW guys practically throw away.
no, we really do throw them away :lol
reminds me of the first turbo civic i put together:
I stand corrected. Borderline useless as they are, it probably still offers better charge cooling than the plumbing parts in there now.
And indy that civic setup is awesome. Is that on a DPFI car too?
yes sir, DPFI with a 12:1 FMU running 12psi non-intercooled with stock timing. It lasted maybe 6 weeks of serious abuse before the motor let go. Had like 200k miles on it.
Sounds fun, and probably cost next to nothing. Turn the boost down a bit and retard the timing some and it probably would have survived a bit longer.
it was fun, and it was a long time ago… back in 2004 i think. Had a couple hundred in all the turbo stuff and sold it on ebay for like 700. Junked the car…
That thing was fun :lol
that festiva looks fuckin cool as shit
would buy it , bow the engine up and return whatever parts to home depot. Then the rest to Lowes.
Then throw some other engine like honda fanboi shit
that 190 is DOPEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Holy shit is it. If I can next week I may go buy that for my dad. He loves his 190, but has always wanted the evo ii, close enough right :lol
