Cossey's Civic

:rofl:rofl:rofl

congrats cossey I glad to see you finally got youre r34 that you have been talking about since the begining of time I couldnt really tell by the pics but is it a v spec or not ?? not like it matters much I would have taken a gts

not a clue but if u find out let me know because she is hot!

The car’s only making around 350whp. I’m getting it retuned next week @ Synapse (thank god I can be RWD by pulling a fuse) because it’s running pig rich.

And I believe an IC coupler blew off last night. =(

you wanna play around tonight??

Cossey, what’s the benefit of running the custom intake manifold with the Q45 style throttle body instead of the stock with the individual butterfly valves in each runner?

The owner before me planned on going big turbo. The ITB’s REALLY limit things up top when the car starts making serious power. The single 90mm throttle body is much more beneficial to the system.

oh shi-

I mean, now you have to follow up his plans.

4094R plz. thx.

Nooo, I’d be sticking with twins if/when I upgrade.

oh god. please pick a turbo with a solid powerband and not the largest/shiniest one around.

I have faith you will. Just don’t get sucked into listening to them

edit: Sweet. twins, good choice.

Nooo don’t do single big turbo. DO twin moderate sized turbos

Twin 30r’s are cool too.

I guess.

:shifty

I’ve been looking into HKS GT2835’s so far. Not much else as I haven’t been on the comp a lot.

I agree, some moderate twins would be sick. Would not go big single on that car.

very cool. Do the math and figure it out before you buy. Eric/redroof put together a real good article on choosing compressors and there is a ton more information out there that takes time to sort through, but you won’t be kicking yourself once you make the big purchase.

Oh I know. I’m just gonna be going with something that’s been done many a time that I know is a reliable, quick setup with good power levels.

dont mod it… leave it be its a skyline it dont need to be fast to have baller status.

I’m gonna be different and say screw twins! There are lots of new turbo options out there now that can push almost 800whp with 61-61mm compressors. Pair that with a twin scroll exhaust housing and manifold and you will have a great powerband and much simplier setup.

Badass car tho!! I saw 2 r34 gtr’s on my 5 mile ride to work this morning btw…but i imagine its pretty rare up there!

Do not listen to this man.

This.

oh man,its GhettoChildRacing part 2… IP scan > You.
