needs clean tires with tire shine!!!
We were in a bit of a rush cuz the shoot was very last minute, so I didn’t think to scrub the tires. Though you will NEVER see tire shine on anything I own unless it’s being driven of the dealer’s lot. I hate the look of tire shine.
Jim, as always it was a pleasure. Brochure SUV was a fun time.
We hit a mud puddle picking the kids up from soccer practice. Damn kids and their BALLS.
Brochure X5 was fun. :tbu
That’s because they think it’s their mom’s car
:ninja
You act like that’s a bad thing. It’s more inviting to them.
:lol
for the upper class pedo bear.
Might wanna do a shoot of my soccer mom car in the spring time. Pics and car look great.
Wow. It really is fall up there. Looking forward to this shoot, should be beautiful.
Get moms.
Cossey u gonna put a trailer hitch on this thing??
Always liked fall themed pics. Looking forward to this set!
Yes, I plan to over winter since I’d like to start towing the M3 to events. It’ll handle the M3 and a steel trailer (plan on doing aluminum though) really well. There’s actually a guy or two I’ve seen with these towing their track cars, one with a nice 996 GT3 and another w/ an M3.
thats pretty sweet. hope you got some interior pics jim!
I kinda wish this was an x5m but in any case how do you like it? Is it Good on gas?
I do not wish this was an X5m. I would never spend $85k on an SUV. I needed something diesel (mpg, especially when towing) comfortable, and it had to be an SUV (or else it would’ve been a Duramax which I could’ve gotten for much cheaper). Only the Europeans are mass-producing diesel SUVs. I HATE M-B, and the Audi Q7 really felt like shit compared to this driving and quality wise.
I’ve gotten 28mpg on backroads to Mass, but usually get around 22mpg city.
meh, any top of the line suv you have to spend that type of money. ( range rover supercharged, ml63 amg, x5m, cayenne gts/turbo ) i know their not for everyone but im just saying.
but to each their own and this diesel fits your needs. I bet it will be an awesome track car tow vehicle and if i saw you towing the m3 i would deff take a pic lol
on the other hand 22 mpg city ? is that with your foot in it or just average ? i think the motors on chevys with the 8 cylinder that cuts down to 4 gets roughly that same gas mileage no?
Nope, 22 is just driving normal.
The 2011 Silverado in 2WD w/ 5.3L gets 15 city, 22 highway. 4x4 I can only assume gets worse than that.
