it’s heavy for a reason. Leave it alone.
Do you plan on pulling the motor apart and replacing the crank bearings? IMO, if you’re not going to do that keep the dampened pulley. By switching to an un-dampened pulley you’ll be increasing the rate of wear on bearings that may already have started to show their age. (I’m assuming the motor you have has a good amount of miles on it already.)
youre crank with be a tuning fork on your bearings if you have nothing cushioning the vib’s

Agreed 100% unless you plan on purchasing an underdrive unit from ATI or Fluidampr. Heavier units more effectively dampen upper RPM engine harmonics.
