Don’t know of any local company to make pulleys. What do you need pulleys for or is it completely custom. I sell March pulleys and I can get custom made stuff at ASP http://www.aspracing.com/index.html
Not local but probably one of the best around http://www.witchhunter.com/
ive looked and cannot find a pulley kit for this my motor…
im hoping to preplace the factory crank with an aluminum piece for two reasons.
the stock one is so rusty its amazing.
the stock one weights about 20 pounds.
id also mayne like to get a p/s pulley reproduced in alluminum…maybe in a slightly smaller diameter…
im pretty sure i need to send my stock pieces away and have them copied
thanks for the injector site…pretty sheap too
ask somebody who has a cnc/machine shop, or works for a place, such as derrick? lol.
you know i really hate doing this lol…
every time i ask someone to do something like this they agree…then when i get my part im an asshole and it can never be done again
I had custom pulley’s made by pulley brothers - www.pulleybros.com
They are great, would highly recommend them over a standard machine shop.
yes i remember that site! thank you
new era for injectors
pullybros website sucks…i dont feel like dealing with them already
I just called them.
I’m retarded, I meant Pulley Boys. www.pulleyboys.com
The reason the stock one is so heavy is because it’s a harmonic balancer…
I would not replace it unless you replace it with an ATI unit or something.
shut up with your “science” you fucking witch :tinfoilhat:
+1 he has some cool equip for doing it and i think he does them via mail too
jay, if you send your injectors to new era lemme know. I have a set i want tested as well. Although every time i call there shop noone answers the phone.
ill check thanks lol
i know that fool…im hoping to get it reproduced in aluminum
will do jonny…
Well, a harmonic damper is a multi-piece assembly with tuned rubber rings in it and a weigted outer shell… it’s not something you can just give to a machine shop and say “hey, make this”
just spoke to the machinist at pulleyboys…old nissan guy that has seen the swap in the past…
said he has done balanced pulleys in the past but its a gamble…like i fugured the pulley would be balanced but not for the internals…
im gunna pull this thing off and send him some pics and specs on it and go from there
I would sand blast it, paint it and be done with it.
that was the first choice of mine…
but its so heavy and ugly
