how is it that they did that with essentially no guidance? Nobody walking around placing cars. I know if anything even close to that was tried at any meet i’ve been at there’d be banged up fenders all over the place and no real result.

They set them all up and then just filmed them leaving.
lol, yeah. All the people are walking backwards, and very quickly, too - the film was also sped up. Still fun to watch though.
