d16y7 motor for sale…i did a motor swap for a buddie and i got this in return…was gonna throw in in something at some point but figured i could use the money…the head was removed so i could see for my self the work that was done…so it will need a headgasket and oilpan gasket…asking 350 obo

i swear this is my old engine from my 97, although i didnt have stuff painted. ran awesome up to the day i sold it! took quite the beating after that lol
Any more info on the pistons? CR, dish, etc? Looks to be pretty low compression… Has the head been shaven at all? Possibly interested…
there vitara 8.5:1 compression and i had all the paper work when i sold it. i think the machine shop just checked to make sure it was all level. block was knotched
I dont know a hole lot and it prob was your old motor…lol…more then welcome to come inspect it…
