COMPLETE DROP IN D16y8 turbo setup w/ built motor

Up for sale is the motor i was going to use in my hatch. Due to title issues the hatch is gone, and i have no use for the motor anymore.

THE MOTOR:
1997 d16y8
srp pistons
ARP head studs
bored .050 over
brand new timing belt/waterpump, etc
stock d16y8 transmission with ACT clutch

THE KIT:

Custom manifold (looks just like the LSD motorsports log)
Garret T3 super 60 turbo (oil and coolant cooled)
Turbosmart 35 mm external wastegate
custom 3" downpipe
flat black intercooler piping
HUGEE spearco front mount
keikhin(not sure on spelling) 450cc injectors (evo 560cc’s available)
bosch blow off valve
all oil lines, etc

I have receipts for just the build on the motor alone of over $1000

Willing to let everything listed here go for 3000 b/o

any interest???

ill take the turbo and the dp.

you used stock rods?

i got the motor out of a wrecked civic. Included with the car was recipts for the build. No where on the receipts did it mention the rods, so i have to assume they are stock.

Not trying to part out the turbo kit yet

I’ll sell u all the turbo stuff for 1500, and you can keep what u want, and sell the rest. Lemme know if that sounds appealing

you should pop the pan off and take a look at the rods.
you might get more its that way.

yah good call…ill be out of town until the 26th. When i get back ill take it apart and take a look

i bet the rods are aftermarket…im pretty sure you cant use forged pistons with stock rods on the d series. but if they are stock the build is worthless, the rods are the weakest points.

willing to part out the tranny?

not willing to part out

im pretty new to the civic thing, i might be buyin a 97 hatch, whould this thing swap in there clean? i was thinkin about goin the Turbo rought with it. let me know

  1. take pan off
  2. look at rods
  3. tell us what they are

my bro might be interested

the DP would be of no use to you without the matching manifold…

i need an engine hoist to get the thing off the ground to take the pan off…
