came out of a 92 dx that had a p72 ecu so never crossed into VTEC and because of that owner never beat on the motor
please help me out on this … if its a vtec motor running a non vtec ECU… to me that is worse then a motor that was beat on with the correct ECU do to the fact the lower lobs were used in RPMs that they were not made for …

P72 = GSR = vtec
a z6 engine will run just fine on a p72, vtec function and all.
ya vtec worked, it was just running rich due to it not being the correct fueling/ignition
oh well its w.e. i know steve barely beat on the motor cuz he thought it was “slow” and now he has a k20 in his hatch
