All I know is that when Initech makes more profit Peter Gibbons doesn’t make an extra dime.
If a company is doing well and making millions then a large salary like some of these CEO’s are given is fine. Honestly though I would like to see these companies spread their profit to more of their employee’s I know the decision making of a company comes from a CEO but how come the average worker who works hard to help make that company function so that it can make those millions of dollars aren’t also also paid for it.
I know about some companies profit sharing and such but if you were to compare the percentage of cash given to some of these exec vs the employee’s you would find a major concentration of wealth at the top.
Again CEO’s of a profitable company should make more then regular employee’s but please don’t tell me they are the only ones that deserve to see a slice of the pie.
But that shit happens to blue collar worker all the time. And take a look in the country when it come to teachers. Teachers are getting laid off left and right at a time when we’re being told education is a national priority.
We expect unions to fold under this recession and give concession after concession and if they complain we call them unrealistic and greedy.
We ask the same thing from an AIG exec and its socialism run a muck. Wow what a double standard that is.
We are in a recession, everyone is hurting, so everyone should be sacrificing parts of their lifestyle. And the one part of society that can survive this recession the best, the ones with more money put away for this, your defending that their lifestyle should not be change. Why?
These guys expect your life to change, why not demand the same of them.
