Hello everyone! Glad to finally jump on board to be partners with NYSpeed & PittSpeed. Most of you are now probably thinking well who the hell are you, so I would like to introduce myself. I’m Justin from Saint Mary’s, PA and run Detective Coating aka Justin’s Powdercoating. Started out a little over 3 years ago doing my own parts and quickly took over the powdercoating industry in the DSM scene. I also work as the head powdercoater at another local company where we do industrial powdercoatings for local businesses. What sets me apart from any other coater is that I treat each part as my own, I’m very picky with the finished product and will redo parts until I am 100% satisfied with them. I’m willing to meet people within a 3 hour round trip for me to save on shipping costs also if you have a batch of parts or something heavy. I am able to comfortably fit pieces 50" long. 25" width, 25" height so most automotive pieces are able to fit without a problem. I also have over 100 colors in stock at a time and have access to over 7,000 colors. To view the colors available you can follow the links below:

Someone on TTNET just asked about powder coating his whole car, lol.

Saint Mary’s, PA is about 2.5 hours from WNY for the NYSpeed guys.

Lol well I could do most of it, just not the whole thing. I think I’ve had every request from an entire car to a 4000sqft house lol. It was all in humorous compliments and was definitely appreciated hearing things like that.

Do you do that glow-in-the-dark stuff?

I can definitely do it, the additive is quite expensive and there are only a few colors to choose from with it. If you want I can PM you the info on it.

What colors are available in glow in the dark?
How about candy and translucent colors?

Aqua, Green, and Violet are available for the Glow in the dark additives. As far as candies and translucents there are literally thousands of them that you can find on powderbuythepound.com and nicindustries.com Looking for a specific match?

You got enough room for a bike frame? I’m really thinking of doing a translucent candy red, But I need to get the frame figured out first if that’s the problem.

What kind of bike frame? Sportbike, bmx, etc. If you can get some rough estimates of it I can let you know if it will fit fine. Roughly my oven is 50"x26"X24" so I should be able to fit most frames.
